External Investment Manager Selection
PIF aims to generate value through a focused and diligent selection of investments in funds that are consistent with our long-term investment roadmap and strategic asset allocation. Such funds are managed by carefully selected external investment managers. All external investment managers must meet certain requirements and specific evaluation criteria in accordance with PIF internal investment policy.
Approach to Investments
PIF’s approach to investments in funds is undertaken through well-defined and articulated due-diligence steps. All external investment managers of such funds undergo a comprehensive review along several business dimensions.
Evaluation and monitoring of investments in funds and their corresponding external investment managers are conducted on an ongoing periodic basis to ensure continued alignment with PIF strategy, performance against underwriting objectives, and policies. Furthermore, PIF actively engages with its external investment managers on regular basis and, where possible, through participation in annual general meetings, limited partner advisory committees, and other investor meetings, as applicable.
