The GDP is run annually by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in partnership with elite universities and world-class training institutes ensuring the best guidance and skill enhancement. The graduates are given top-tier professional training for an exceptional start in the workforce.

The Program At A Glance

The Graduate Development Program (GDP), launched in 2017 with 40 participants, is designed to equip fresh Saudi graduates with the skills and experience needed to begin their careers within PIF, its projects, and portfolio companies.

The program offers a structured learning and development journey each year, combining practical experience and professional training. It aims to nurture high-potential talent, preparing them to contribute to key economic sectors and support the broader goals of Vision 2030.

Program Learning Journey

The GDP program is a learning experience that will challenge and transform you professionally and personally over 12 months.

The learning experience for recent graduates includes both classroom and on-the-job training, during which you will develop a solid foundation in core skills and knowledge through various learning activities, exercises, and experiences, and work alongside industry leaders and experts in their field, learning how to turn academic knowledge into the best industry practice that will build the blocks you'll need for your future career.

Who We Are Looking For?

Recent Saudi graduates, who are keen to acquire the skills and knowledge to take the first step on their professional journey, should apply.

Eligibility Criteria
  1. Saudi national.
  2. Holds a Bachelor's or Master's in one of the relevant majors (Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Engineering, Law, Statistics, Risk Management, Applied and Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Science, AI, Data Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Economics).
  3. Fresh graduate (Graduation year from 2023 to 2025).
  4. University GPA not less than 3.75 out of 5 or 2.75 out of 4 or equivalent. 
  5. English Language Proficiency a minimum of 6 IELTS score or 60 in TOEFL (IBT) or 513 in TOEFL (PBT), excluding the graduates of accredited universities in English-speaking countries.

  • How long is the program?

    The GDP is a full-time program that runs for 12 months.

  • What is the selection process for the Graduate Development Program?

    The selection process includes an online application, assessments, and interviews. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted throughout each stage. Final selections are based on a comprehensive evaluation of academic background, skills, and alignment with PIF’s mission and values.

  • Who is eligible to apply for the Graduate Development Program?

    The program is open to recent Saudi graduates who hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized institution, with strong academic performance and a passion for contributing to Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation.   • Where is the Graduate Development Program (GDP) located?

    The program is based in Riyadh, at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) Tower in King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). Please note that the program requires full-time, on-site commitment throughout its duration.

  • Are STEP or other English proficiency certificates accepted?

    No. Only valid IELTS or TOEFL (iBT or PBT) certificates are accepted as proof of English language proficiency. unless the applicant is graduating from a university in an English-speaking country.
