About FII Institute
The Future Investment Initiative (FII) began in Riyadh in 2017 to convene leaders and innovators around solutions that deliver real-world impact. In 2019, the FII Institute was established as a global nonprofit with an investment arm to turn ideas into action, with PIF as the Founding Partner.
FII 9th Edition 2025
Under the theme “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth,” FII9 gathers world leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators to translate debate into action across capital, technology, and policy. The four-day program at KAICC features 600+ global speakers and 20 heads of state, with thousands of delegates and international media.

2017
The Future Investment Initiative was launched in Riyadh as an annual event.
2019
The FII Institute was established by royal decree, with PIF as the Founding Partner.
2020
Beyond the Crisis: Technology to the Rescue. First event of the FII Institute series, April 2020.
2021
The FII Institute published its first ESG report and held an ESG event.
2022
"Inclusive ESG for Emerging Markets" - the first FII regional summit in London.
2024
PIF and FII signed an MoU to focus on the asset management industry at future FII events.
