Learning Simulations
To ‘accelerate the development of Portfolio Managers’, equipping them to manage significant investment portfolios, an important component of the program is the Simulation.
During the simulations, the participants will have an opportunity to simulate a real portfolio of stocks. They will devise an investment philosophy and process, choose securities, and monitor performance and risk using the tools (FactSet, etc.) they learn in other sessions.
Learning by doing is the best way to learn a subject.
The simulation will include other asset classes besides stocks and set limits on country exposure, sector exposure, etc. just as would be required for actual fund managers.
Bloomberg Training (4 sessions):
- Bloomberg main concepts
- Equity in Bloomberg Fixed Income, Derivative, Funds, and other products
- Portfolio construction and analysis
