TRIGA localizes production of Honeywell’s fire detection system in Saudi Arabia

Introduction

TRIGA Life Safety Systems (a NAFFCO subsidiary) is a leading company involved in designing and building intelligent, flexible fire systems. Offering comprehensive fire detection, protection and mass notification to serve the needs of the life safety industry, TRIGA enters into a strategic partnership with PIF to localize Honeywell’s fire detection system production in Saudi Arabia.

Private Sector Partnerships

TRIGA explored the 25+ opportunities listed on the Private Sector Hub for the construction and building components sector and registered their interest on the ‘Fixed Fire Detection System’ opportunity. Following registration on the Private Sector Hub, TRIGA was supported by PIF, which provided visibility into the demand-supply landscape in Saudi Arabia, including the upcoming demand from PIF-led real estate projects. The PIF team also supported the team in identifying the relevant initiatives and the cost advantages of localizing fire detection system manufacturing in Saudi Arabia.

Through the engagement, TRIGA has committed to localizing the production of Honeywell’s fire detection system in Saudi Arabia with factory operationalization scheduled for Q2 2025.

The partnership between TRIGA and PIF expands local capacity to serve both PIF’s portfolio companies and the increasing demand for fire detection systems in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the collaboration supports the localization of international technologies, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
