Saudi Arabia's national real estate developer ROSHN – which is owned by PIF and chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs, and Chairman of PIF – has announced the development of Al-Arous community.
Covering an area of approximately 4 million square meters, and including more than 18,000 residential units, Al-Arous is being designed to include parks, pedestrian walkways, bicycle paths, restaurants, cafes, schools and mosques.
Al-Arous is ROSHN's second community, and reflects the Saudi Vision 2030 commitment to raising the quality of life of all Saudi citizens and boosting homeownership levels across the country. It will offer a modern, vibrant lifestyle while preserving Saudi Arabia's rich heritage and local urban designs.
Located in north Jeddah, at a site that connects the population with the city's main roads and public transportation network, Al-Arous is one of numerous ROSHN neighborhoods planned across four regions and nine cities in Saudi Arabia.
Dedicated to developing modern and aspirational communities for the people of Saudi Arabia, ROSHN supports the government's efforts to increase the rate of home ownership to 70% by 2030. PIF is championing this goal by investing in vibrant urban livelihoods, supporting economic development and engaging best-in-class expertise.
